Then you might be just who we’re looking for as a Software Engineer for Site Reliability Engineering (m/f/d) at our location in Gunzenhausen.
Your responsibilities:
- Proactively turn proposed solutions into reality and bring them to life
- Transform technically diverse ideas into innovative products
- Ensure the performance and security of our websites by mitigating attacks, bots, and overload scenarios
- Protect against Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks
- Continue to develop existing rate limiting and caching mechanisms between the network and application layers
- Scale our infrastructure across our data centers, our other locations, and beyond
What impresses us:
- Ability to structure complex ideas and develop concrete steps to implement them
- Willingness to actively contribute ideas and look beyond your own area of expertise
- Solid knowledge of network technologies, including BGP, DNS, TCP, HTTP, TLS, and IPv6
- Programming experience, ideally with Rust, tokio.rs, Lua, Go, and C/C++
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and DevOps is an advantage
- A high degree of initiative and the ability to work independently
