Our story begins with the Internet
At a time when the internet was still a playground for many, Martin Hetzner founded the company that bears his name. The trained electrician and electrical engineer had always wanted to be self-employed. He found the ideal business model in the IT sector.
Our figures speak for themselves: we are internationally positioned, serve customers worldwide, and operate several hundred thousand servers in our data centers. We place particular emphasis on sustainability, quality, and a corporate culture that promotes growth and cooperation.
As an owner-managed company with Martin Hetzner as founder and managing director, we operate with stability and foresight. Since we are not dependent on investors, we can make independent decisions that are not solely focused on short-term success. Instead, we have been growing steadily at a healthy rate since the beginning of our company's history.
