We are looking for a dedicated Business Intelligence Engineer / Analytics Engineer (m/f/d) to continuously develop, expand, and operate this BI landscape.
In this role, you will use your technical BI expertise together with your strong knowledge of data models, ETL processes, and reporting requirements. You will work closely with the business departments in translating business questions into modern dashboards, reports, and self-service solutions.
In doing so, you will contribute to the centralized transparency, data quality, and the decision-making of our organisation.
Your responsibilities:
- Plan, connect, integrate, and continuously develop data sources, including data modelling and data transformation
- Optimize existing data structures within the business intelligence environment
- Conceptualise, build, and continuously develop a company-wide dashboard and reporting portfolio
- Develop and implement new dashboards, reports, and modern self-service BI solutions to provide targeted support for data-driven decision-making
- Operate and administer the BI platform: this includes managing users, archiving, monitoring data load processes, and performing upgrade tests and functional tests
- Collaborate closely with business departments to collect and prioritise requirements, provide advice on metrics, and translate business questions into sustainable BI solutions
What impresses us:
- Proven experience in the field of business intelligence, data analytics, and reporting
- Solid proficiency in common BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or comparable solutions
- Strong database expertise in SQL and relational data models, ideally together with experience with cloud-based databases
- In-depth understanding of ETL processes, data modelling, and performance optimisation within the business intelligence environment
- Highly developed analytical skills combined with a structured, solution-oriented, and independent work style
- Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in collaborating with a wide range of business functions
- Desirable: experience working with SAP systems, in particular S/4HANA
